No. Membership fees are fixed and currently no discounts are offered.

No. The library does not offer weekly, monthly or quarterly memberships. Please refer to the Membership Plans above.

Yes. Visitors are welcome during working hours to explore the facilities and learn about membership options before applying.

No. As the library is a heritage structure, it is not air-conditioned. However, its high ceilings and excellent natural cross-ventilation provide a comfortable reading environment throughout the year.

Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for all members.

Yes. Access to the reading room is included with all membership categories.

Members may borrow up to 3 books from the General Collection for 15 days and up to 2 magazines for 10 days. Both may be renewed twice, subject to availability.

Yes. The premises may be made available for educational, literary and cultural events, subject to availability and prior approval. Please contact the library office.

Yes. Existing members may upgrade their membership by contacting the library office.

No. Membership registration is currently available only offline at the library.

No. Membership fees are non-refundable.

Yes. Individuals residing outside Mumbai may apply subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria and submitting the required documents.

Yes. Locker facilities are available subject to availability and applicable charges.

No. Photocopying and printing facilities are not available.

No. The library does not provide parking facilities.

Yes. Members may use laptops in the reading areas while maintaining silence. Every reading desk is equipped with power outlets for laptops and mobile charging.
